Bar Coding / Product Traceability

Begin bar coding by attaching bar code labels to products:

	Raw materials that become rubber
	Rubber that becomes components

	Components that become tires
	Tires that go to your customers

Bar code products individually (green tires) or packaged in groups (beads).

Apply pre-printed bar code labels supplied on rolls, or attach individual bar code tags printed "on demand" as inventory is produced.

When you store product data keyed by bar code number you create product traceability.

Workstation Record

ITEM	DESCRIPTION
Workstation	Workstation identifier
Name	Network node name for workstation
Plant_idx	A value that uniquely identifies the workstation in your facility
Type	Type of machine associated with this workgroup
Department	Department to which workstation is assigned
Supervisor	Supervisor descriptor - associates workstation with a supervisor or supervisor group for reporting purposes
Inactivity	Inactivity timeout. Number of minutes that machine can remain idle before the workstation is placed in an "Inactive" status.
AutoInventory	Automatic inventory flag
Msg Group	Identifies a group of email or cell phone destinations for messaging
Classification	Job Function
Training	Stage of training
Maintenance	Maintenance area descriptor
Group	This value allows workstations to be grouped by functionality (for example, an extruder with its windups).
